Solution Specialist

As a Solution Specialist at Adecco, your mission is to ensure the operational resilience, availability, and performance of our application estate. You will provide guidance for solutions, own the technical 'release train,' and contribute to technology specifications and documentation. Your role includes supporting projects, ensuring technical robustness, and providing 2nd and 3rd level support as needed.

• Develop deep functional and technical knowledge of managed applications and Adecco business processes.
• Manage relationships with maintenance and support suppliers.
• Collaborate with the business to gather high-level requirements for solutions.
• Support in producing detailed business and system requirements documents.
• Integrate proposed solutions with existing architectural patterns.
• Lead or contribute to the release management process.
• Ensure technical fitness for purpose of solutions.
• Provide recommendations for improvements and act as an escalation point for suppliers.
• Perform or support integration and end-user tests.
• Ensure compliance with audit and financial requirements.
• Monitor technical activity, identify major issues, and formulate solutions.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the solutions area.
• Conduct analysis and troubleshooting related to incidents, change requests, projects, and tasks.
• Lead or contribute to Problem Management processes.

• Experience with ITIL framework techniques, technologies, and standards is an advantage.
• Thorough understanding of systems development life cycles and distributed enterprise application architectures.
• Excellent communication, meeting, and presentation skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Experience in managing integrated software/applications.
• Experience in managing Payroll and Finance systems is a plus.
• Speak English and Norwegian 

• University Degree, preferably in a business or technical subject, or any comparable education.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and/or ITIL Service Management processes.
• Experience using MS-SQL or other database technologies to deliver major systems.
