Our in-house development team creates software and the most critical parts of hardware used in our products. This includes solutions for preventing falls, digital supervision, notification solutions, and mobile security alarms. With a workforce of 165 spread across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and UK, we are on a journey to becoming the leading player in elderly care technology across Europe.  

The Role 

As Lead Mobile Developer, you'll play a crucial part in bringing our vision to life and creating the apps that our customers depend on. You will lead a small team that works closely with our other product teams. The responsibilities include taking lead on strategic decisions related to the applications, and creating and following development plans for the team. Even though you will have strategy and management tasks, the majority of your time will be spent on hands-on development. The position reports directly to our CTO.  

You will lead the work on our Pocket app, Sensio’s primary interface with our customers. The application is created using technologies like Xamarin, Maui, and Uno. Pocket provides healthcare professionals with an overview of information and alerts from connected sensors and technology, and is accessible on a vast amount of devices. In addition to Pocket, you will take lead on developing other mobile applications to improve the way elderly care is delivered.  

What you will be doing  

• Leading the work on Sensio’s flagship Pocket app.  
• Hands-on mobile development using .NET technologies. 
• Collaborate closely with our product department to ensure top-notch user experience.  
• Taking ownership over the mobile architecture and guiding us in technological choices.  
• Mentor junior developers on mobile development.  

What we are looking for

• Expertise in .NET technologies such as Xamarin and Maui. 
• 5 years of experience in mobile development.
