We are looking for a stellar Compliance Engineer who wants to join an exciting and emerging company with high ambitions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Compliance Engineer, you will be part of a cross functional camera team developing the next generation of 3D cameras. You will be entrusted with ensuring that our upcoming products fully comply to EMC, Safety, and Material compliance regulations and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough assessments of hardware product designs to identify potential compliance issues.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into product design and development processes.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including test plans, reports, and technical files.
- Coordinate and liaise with external test laboratories and certification agencies.
- Conduct compliance testing and evaluations in-house or with external partners.
- Address and resolve compliance issues and deviations, providing recommendations and solutions.
- Ensure that compliance records and documentation are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Keep abreast of emerging compliance trends and regulations, providing guidance to the company as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance engineering for hardware products.
- Profound knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH).
- Experience with compliance testing procedures and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with compliance software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to do practical work and willing to “get hands dirty”
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance Engineer) is a plus
