We are seeking a motivated Embedded Vision Developer to join our team! In this role, you will have a key role in the development of software solutions used across the entirety of our product range. The role involves continuously updating and enhancing your knowledge in the field of Embedded Software development to ensure the implementation of the correct solutions. You will work in a team of experienced professionals to deliver world class products and have the opportunity to shape your own role in the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Work to integrate vision systems (like cameras and other sensors) with embedded Linux platforms, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance
  • Develop and maintain systems capable of performing vision tasks in real-time, ensuring low latency and high reliability
  • Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and efficient development processes
  • Troubleshoot complex issues that arise in embedded systems and develop innovative solutions to overcome them

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelors or masters degree within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Cybernetics or similar field
  • Experience with, or interest in, camera technology, as they apply to the development of sophisticated embedded vision systems
  • Experience with C/C++ development
  • Experience with Linux configuration and kernel development
  • Experience with, or interest in, CUDA development
  • Hands on skills for prototyping, measurements and problem solving
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, preferably in both Norwegian and English
