Do you want to join the best leadership team in Telia?
The leadership group in CPS Analytics Norway is a high-trust environment where we both support and care for each other but often discuss what is the best solution. We expect that you bring your whole self to this discussion and that we can disagree about topics but still be caring and supportive of each other.
As a manager in CPS Analytics Norway, you will have personnel responsibility for your team and be your team's scrum master. Having both the delivery- and the personnel-responsibility, you will be 100% responsible for your teams' deliveries. An essential part of this role is to be able to remove obstacles preventing their deliveries. You will have a significant degree of autonomy and all the support you need to succeed and thrive in the role.
You will lead a team of seven-ish employees. Your job #1 is to ensure the team succeeds and each member succeeds. I firmly believe in servant leadership and expect you to follow a similar style. It will not be your job to make all critical decisions for the team but to ensure the team takes them in such a way as to align with our shared vision and targets. You will have some team members located in Oslo and some in Vilnius. From a leadership perspective, you should follow up all of them the same way, but the Vilnius employees will have a local manager too.
We empower our Telia Norway colleagues through easy access to data and insight. Our work is vital to turning Telia into a data-driven organization. Over the last few years, we have established an excellent relationship with our stakeholders, and your mission is to maintain and further develop them for optimal collaboration.
You will report to Head of Analytics IT Norway, Marius Frøisland, and be a part of the leadership team. You will also work closely with Maria Palmer and Linnéa Claesson, the other managers in the department. Feel free to contact any of us if you have questions; contact information is at the bottom.
We want our employees to be in the office at least three days a week. We expect you to be a role model in this and would prefer if you were in the office an average of four or more days a week.
Your experience
Of course, it is a big plus if you have leadership experience, but it is not a requirement. We want to meet you who genuinely believe you can take on this responsibility in leading our team.
English is our common language, and you must be a good and inclusive communicator as a leader. It is a bonus if you also know Norwegian. In addition, you must have experience with Analytics or IT development, either as a developer, scrum master, project manager, or architect. It is a plus if you have experience/training with SAFe. Ideally, you are familiar with AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT.
Who are you?
Working within Analytics at Telia means you will be part of an exciting journey to become the most daring challenger in Norway. We believe in continuous improvement and challenge ourselves to become better every day. To succeed in this role, you need to lead your team on this journey in a fast-paced environment. You identify with our core values, Dare, Care & Simplify, and share our vision to bring these to life through business, our customers, our people, and our world.
