Duties and responsibilities

  • Operation of ROV’s (underwater vehicles) and offshore tooling from a remote control room
  • Participate in task plan reviews, tool-box talks, task based risk assessments
  • Keep an overview over planned operations and make sure the systems are in proper condition; maintained and calibrated for operation
  • Effective communication with the offshore team
  • IT/technical fault-finding
  • Assist in development, maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Make sure ROC operations are carried out in accordance with current regulations, client requirements and internal procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience with ROVs, drones, other unmanned, remote systems or similar technology
  • Offshore ROV experience is favourable, but not a requirement
  • Ability to understand complex operations and see the whole picture
  • Education or work experience with IT systems, software, and networks is beneficial
  • Excellent gaming skills is desirable
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
