Job Description

As a Senior Security and Emergency Response Advisor, you will be part of the Corporate Security and Emergency Response Team under the HSS department. Statkraft operates in 21 Countries and is the largest renewable energy producer in Europe. Our operations and future strategy introduce us to complexities and uncertainties which make the work of the Security and ER unit exciting and motivating.   

In your role you’ll: 

  • Act as a trusted Security and Emergency response advisor and support Statkraft in achieving its strategic business objectives.  
  • Lead in maintaining and improving (personnel) security group governance, monitor and review. 
  • Support in strengthening robustness of Security within Statkraft’s emergency response and preparedness  
  • Actively network and engage across functions and with senior management.  


Qualifications

We look for an experienced Security professional who realise that successful risk management is achieved from a holistic and community-based security risk management approach. You should have competence and skills particularly within the area of personnel security, and a good understanding of Emergency preparedness and response.   

You have experience and/or knowledge from;  

  • A higher (university or military) education within Security Management, risk management, political sciences or equivalent. Relevant experience can replace formal education
  • Strategic and curious mindset with analytical skills, supported by good knowledge of the security discipline and general socio, economical, security- political environment
  • Managing Personnel security threats, adopting risk management good practise and threat trend monitoring
  • Security threat intelligence and analysis 
  • Monitoring of security, political situation and able to analyse influence and relevance to company operations   
  • Hands on travel risk and Journey Management support   
  • Facilitate, take part in, train and run holistic security risk assessments and competence development of Statkraft Emergency response organisation
  • Facilitate collaboration and learning across the organisation through trusted internal and external networks

English language fluency is preferred.
