Instech Solutions has been at the forefront of marine insurance technology development for nearly 30 years. We will now start a very exciting project, where we will build our new core system from scratch.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will have a key role in the development of our new core insurance system for global marine and energy insurance. This role will require a deep understanding of the insurance industry and experience from the software development lifecycle. You play a crucial part in how our products support the everyday needs of users in an efficient, compliant and user-friendly manner.

This is your chance to embark on an exciting journey with our dynamic team in a truly exciting point in the company, being responsible for gathering requirements in close cooperation with stakeholders. In this way, you will transform business needs into functional specifications and report on the progress of the development. Your commitment to documentation will be highly valued, crafting user-friendly manuals and comprehensive system documentation. You will also help us understand the impact of support requests, prioritizing bug reports and change requests, as well as translating them into development tasks.

Our preferred candidate will have:
  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree;
  • Proven experience as a business analyst or product owner in the insurance industry, preferably within marine and energy insurance;
  • Experience with modern agile software development processes – understanding the concepts of design thinking, MVP and continuous delivery/development.
