Are you a student with a passion for data analysis and visualization? Do you want to take part in a cutting-edge project that aims to improve the efficiency and sustainability of offshore oil and gas operations? If yes, then this internship opportunity is for you! 

In this internship, you will work with the Information Management team on the Hugin A project. The IM team is responsible for managing and delivering documentation, tag information and 3D data used in the project. We work closely with the engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure that the information and data are accurate, consistent, and accessible. 

We are now looking for a Summer Intern Information Management who wants to join our team at Fornebu.

What will you be doing?

• As an Aker Solutions summer intern, you will participate in project teams that proudly deliver world class projects
• You will work together with some of our most experienced and knowledgeable engineers on specific assignments for real life projects
• As an intern, you will join the Information Management team and work on various tasks related to data collection, analysis and visualization
• You will learn how to use PowerBI to create and customize dashboards and reports that meet the needs and expectations of different stakeholders and users
• You will also learn how to use other data sources and tools, such as SQL, Excel, and SharePoint, to collect, process, and integrate data into PowerBI
• You will collaborate closely with Information management team and project resources in engineering and procurement

We think you should have:

• Started Your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information management, data science, business analytics, or a related field
• You have a strong interest and curiosity in data analysis and visualization, and you are eager to learn and apply new skills and tools
• You have some experience or knowledge of PowerBI, or you are willing to learn it quickly and independently
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You are available for a minimum of 8 weeks during the summer of 2024
• Being proactive and have the ability to take initiative are great personal skills that will be appreciated in this role
