SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

We are searching for an experienced Senior C# / .NET Developer. The ideal candidate has extensive experience from a similar position, developing advanced solutions for financial markets mainly focusing on bonds and interest rate products.

As part of the Derive-team you will be faced with a wide variety of exciting challenges, using .NET C# for the back-end and WPF or Angular for the front-end.

Your main responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Develop back-end solutions/services using .NET and C#, which involves advanced solutions and techniques like caching, queues, streaming, events, parallel programming and so on.
• Structure and design applications using concepts like DDD and CQRS.
• Database development using MS SQL Server, T-SQL and Entity Framework.
• Develop front-end enterprise solutions using WPF or Angular, and possibly mobile applications using React Native.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

We are looking for candidates who can work independently but also be a great addition to our team. The right person is analytical, organized and efficient, with a strong drive to develop new solutions and features.

The ideal candidate has: 

• A degree in Computer Science / Programming / Web development or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in .NET / C# back-end development.
• Experience with front-end programming is an advantage, either using WPF or Angular.
• Experience from a bank’s investment banking division, financial data/software vendor, or a similar environment.
• Knowledge about financial instruments.
• Highly motivated, structured and with a good working capacity.
• Great Norwegian and/or English skills.
