What will you be doing?

• Lead our IT-automation journey into the future
• Support our production line technicians with advanced technical issues, advanced support for drive technology, PLC, and SCADA-solutions
• System administration of systems in the related departments
• Participate in projects for Operational Excellence (OPEX)
• Administer systems within related departments, ensuring seamless functionality and resolving technical issues promptly
• Develop MES and SCADA solutions for efficient operations (contribute to OPEX)
• Procure new systems for automation of data collection and efficient automated production reporting
• Plan and execute functional tests, both on-site and with suppliers, ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of implemented solutions
• Develop and implement work procedures to ensure the validated state of solutions, keeping records accurate and up- to date

Qualifications and personal skills:

As the position interact with both internal and external partners, clients, suppliers and other companies worldwide we require:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• Relevant professional experience can be considered as compensation for the educational requirement
• Ability to translate technical concepts into laymans terms for effective communication
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Additional proficiency in German is considered a valuable asset
