System Engineer

Objectives:

Ensure efficient planning, create documentation, implementation of documentation, operation and maintenance of data centers. SE's understanding of electrical & mechanical engineering is important, and also to match the company and customer's needs and business objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Create documentation for the design and development of BMS.
  • Create, verify, and approve your project integration code list.
  • Ensure that project objectives are achieved within time frames and budget.
  • Full-scale signal test and verification, reference to integration mark list and/or other

produced documentation.

  • Production and delivery of technical project documentation.
  • Ensure systems are designed for efficiency, scale stability and performance.
  • Handling technical support requests.
  • Develop system architecture according to requirement specifications.
  • Integrate different system components and ensure they work seamlessly together.
  • Assist the project organisation with technical recommendations and solutions.
  • Provide technical support to customers or internal users by resolving issues and

responding to inquiries.

  • Update technical documentation in line with changes in the system.
  • Troubleshooting and correction on integration and field communication.
  • Work at data centers and take part in customer teams


Experience Required

  • BMS or similar engineering experience and expertise.
  • Technical education in automation, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with project execution and customer interaction.
  • Ability to design and implement complex system architectures.
  • Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot network problems by various methods.
  • Some experience with integration of various software components.
  • Knowledge about industrial protocols (i.e. Modbus)
  • Process/automation understanding
  • Good English and/or Scandinavian skills – both oral and written. Communication with

customers takes place in English-written.
