Your future role


Can you help us reap the vast potential of the booming hydrogen market? Investments in this industry are expected to reach 6,5 trillion dollars by 2050. If you like to combine commercial skills with in-depth product understanding, this job might be the perfect fit for you. We can leverage more than 60 years’ experience in rectifier technologies and have tailored our technology to the hydrogen market.


You will develop business software applications, system software IT solutions and/or IT infrastructure services based on Siemens SIMATIC platform and tailored to functional specifications (customization or reuse/modification of system software and/or solutions as well as their development from scratch).


You will

  • Consult customers in creating functional specifications.
  • Evaluate vendor solutions and/or drafts program layouts. 
  • Perform bug verification and testing. 
  • Provide technical support for business applications (standard software and custom development).
  • Design and realizes interfaces between business applications.
  • Ensure the documentation of changes as well as plans and releases upgrades.
  • Act as a technical lead for a project group of software engineers.

Office location is Oslo. 

Travel activities in connection with customer activities will be expected. 


Your profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology/software engineering.
  • You bring a minimum of 5-10 years of experience within automation projects towards the O&G or Process Industry.
  • You hold experience with S7/300-400(H-system), TIA-portal, WinCC and PCS7.
  • Experience from electrolysis processes and SIL is a clear benefit.
  • The ability to switch between working independently and in teams, combined with social skills and the ability to communicate and influence, are part of your profile.
  • You are structured, good at planning and bring a customer - and service-oriented mindset.
  • Staying up to date on the development of technology is your daily routine.
  • Fluency in English, and additional knowledge in Norwegian or German would be a bonus.
