Service Desk Analyst – Part-Time Intern

We are hiring a Service Desk Analyst Intern to work 3 days per week in our Stavanger office from April to September 2024.

Overview

Quorum Software is seeking a Service Desk Analyst Intern to join our team in Stavanger and assist in global IT operations. This role will be trained to serve as the first line of response to IT tickets, to identify issues, and support internal corporate users both in-person and remotely.  In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in global IT operations and provide invaluable support to our internal corporate users.


Responsibilities

  • General administration support within Office 365
  • Queue management
  • Troubleshooting issues related to onboarding and termination of employees
  • Vendor management
  • Inventory management
  • Addressing any other daily unique issues that arise. 
  • This person will be trained to resolve tickets within Freshservice in a high-volume capacity
  • This role should be able to work onsite up to 3 days a week.
  • And other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • A desire to learn to provide desktop support experience in a high volume environment
  • Interest in O365 and cloud technologies
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory (security permissions, adding and deleting users, etc.)
  • Interest in Azure Active Directory
  • Interest in Microsoft InTune
  • Interest in helping users globally and working within a ticketing system (Fresh Service)
  • Expert level communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • The ideal candidate will convey critical thinking skills and the ability to work alongside a team effectively.
  • Flexible to take on other responsibilities and adjust working hours to accommodate other time zones when needed.
  • This role should be able to work on site up to 3 days a week.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal


Additional Details

  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Norway is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
