Our Information Management department at Stord is now looking for a Senior Document Controller.


What will you be doing?

  • Oversee and manage all document control activities within EDMS
  • Ensure the efficient flow of documents and information throughout the project
  • Develop and implement document control procedures and policies
  • Train and mentor Document Controllers
  • Train Project Members in relevant EDMS
  • Resolve complex document control issues and discrepancies
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure document accuracy and compliance


We think you should have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in document control or a related role within the oil and gas industry or similar EPC projects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Skilled in document control processes and EDMS
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Must communicate in both norwegian and english

Knowledge of these software systems or equivalent is beneficial:

  • ProArc (Electronic Document Management System)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • MIPS
  • Electronic Document Control Module
