About the role:

The Engineering Manager leads a development team within the Risk & Compliance area with a focus to deliver complex cross-company solutions. This can be related to FCP Compliance and solutions for automation that will benefit our customer experience across Nordics.

In the role you will be responsible for 8-10 highly specialised data analysts and developers. Main tasks will be prioritising activities such as risk scoring, electronic transaction monitoring, real time risk scoring and case handling systems.

Our wish is that you are able to develop and manage the team with the right competencies - including potential hiring needs. You will have personnel responsibilities for your team members, including fostering their development through support, advice and mentoring.

On the team level, you are responsible for delivering on the goals of both the team and the business segment. You will oversee high technical quality of your team`s deliveries. An important key to achieve this is to foster alignment and close collaboration with other development teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a developer

  • Good people skills and a coaching leadership style

  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work with other teams in a distributed environment

  • Academic Degree in Technology, Engineering, or similar experience
