Mobile App Engineer

About the Team

As our new mobile app engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional product team consisting of 20 members. This is a technically strong and social group that works closely to create the best app solutions for Coop’s customers and co-owners. The team includes expertise within development,product management, quality assurance, design, and more.

Your day-to-day at Coop may look somewhat like this:

• Get acquainted with the life cycle of the membership app in Coop
• Work together with the product team to understand requirements and designs
• Understand how the app is set up to improve it and implement new features continuously
• Implement UI / UX and understand user interactions
• Collaborate with our backend developers to help design the APIs needed to support new features
• Build and produce apps on Android and iOS
• Technological innovation to bring our apps to the next level, and craft great shopping experiences for our customers

We believe this could be you:

• 3+ years of experience in mobile app development
• Good knowledge of universal design
• Enjoys working in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of native and hybrid app development
• Experience working with Flutter
• Higher education in relevant areas or relevant work experience
• Fluent / very good English (Norwegian is a plus)
• Likes to work independently and has an eye for detail
• Team player with strong collaboration skills and a learning attitude
