Havfram is looking for an IT manager to focus on ITSM and IT GRC.
Havfram’s IT function is under establishment and as part of building a more mature operation we are looking to strengthen our IT business management capabilities.
IT supports our business by providing well integrated and modern services, from personal IT equipment through specialist applications, to the development and maintenance of integration and analytics platforms.
All our IT services are software-as-a-service, and we rely on our network of partners for most of our day-to-day service management and support functions.
Your background can be diverse and relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education. Experience from the offshore or shipping industries are not required. The motivation to learn is your most important asset.
Duties and responsibilities
As an IT manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our IT services are aligned with the business needs and objectives, and that they comply with relevant standards and regulations. You will have a key role in managing the relationship with our IT service providers and vendors, ensuring that service levels and performance objectives are met. You will work closely with the IT director, the IT governance board, and the business stakeholders to define and implement IT policies, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain an IT service catalog and portfolio and oversee the IT service lifecycle management.
- Manage IT risks, issues, and compliance, and partake in regular audits and assessments.
- Develop and maintain end-user documentation and training.
- Apply Enterprise Architecture methodology to coordinate and facilitate change and release management.
- Maintain and monitor IT service level agreements, key performance metrics, and report on IT service performance and quality.
- Manage IT contracts, budgets, and invoices, and optimize IT costs and value.
- Implement and improve IT service management tools and platforms. Ensure integration and automation of IT workflows.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications can be advantageous: Agile practices (SAFe or other), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the IT sector. Some experience froma managerial or supervisory role is welcome.
- Relevant education would be bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related area like business administration (MBA) with a technology focus.
- Experience from IT project management, including successful deployment of IT projects.
- Experience with system security measures and data protection laws.
- Some familiarity with programming languages, operating systems and/or networking.
- Familiarity with the following tools is welcome but not a firm requirement:

- Microsoft 365 Suite
- Amazon Web Services
