DNB IS LOOKING FOR DEVOPS ENGINEERS TO WORK ON OUR CLOUD PLATFORMS

We're looking for Cloud DevOps Engineers to be a part of our Engineering Platforms Family in DNB Technology & Services. The family has responsibility for the DNB Cloud Platforms running in AWS and Azure. For those not familiar with DNB lingo, a family is like a DevOps team.

Technology-wise we are using everything from mainframe to cloud (DNB is a heavy user of both AWS and Azure). During the next decade, we will work heavily on modernization across our portfolio, and are looking for individuals that will help us drive towards this goal.

As a DevOps Engineer in the Engineering Platforms area, you will be a member of one of the Cloud Engineering Platform Teams working hands on with the latest cloud services providing central infrastructure services and consultancy for the many DevOps product teams.

What we need

We are looking for pragmatic engineers who have the following:

• Knowledge of the Azure or AWS cloud technologies
• Familiar with Platform Engineering implementation and principles
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as AKS, EKS, Openshift
• Experience with modern software development practices
• Experience with using modern development tooling stacks e.g. Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Github, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux, Crossplane, Kubevela
• Experience with platform and application logging using both cloud native and enterprise SIEM tools such as Splunk, ELK
• Knowledge of Cloud platofrm security and DevSecOps processes and tooling
• Knowledge in automation and scripting languages
• Ability to think outside the box, looking at building blocks for the future
• Demonstrate strong ability to troubleshoot technical problems and issues

Nice to have:

• Experience with designing and implementing cloud native solutions
• Good practical experience with connectivity and networking

What you will do

1. Design, plan and develop cloud solutions
2. Manage, monitor and secure core cloud infrastructure and operations
3. Manage and improve self-service platform for DevOps product teams
4. Work closely with DevOps product teams to help and support them in achieving their end goals
5. Stay up to date with technology and always look for a more efficient and secure solution
