NOV Energy Equipment is seeking a Software Engineer - NOVOS to join our Digital Products and Automation team. The project integration team stays up to date on the latest evolving technologies across product teams to ensure efficient integration of advanced drilling and data systems.

 

In our development team, we are looking for a software engineer / developer who will join our team in creating industry leading solutions for our drilling automation system NOVOS.

The NOVOS system is deployed on 100+ rigs across our global market and are experiencing further growth and demand. 

As we provide flexibility and believe that freedom at work is the way to go, we can’t say exactly how your day to day is going to look like. But we believe it will include:

  • Develop, review and test code in a strong and diverse team
  • Ensure comprehensive and robust software solutions, and good user experience for our client base.
  • Close work collaboration with development teams, QA, leadership and our Subject Matter Experts in field.
  • Utilize the latest in-house integration software tools to validate system integrity.
  • Automating big machinery to ensure safe, efficient and consistent operation of energy delivery for our customer base.

 You’ll shine through if: 

  • You are knowledgeable of high level programming or Control Systems Engineering. 
  • Familiar with C++, C, C# or other high level programming language is an advantage.
  • Enjoy working with great minds and collaborate in the office on ideas and solutions 

We also think you have:

  • A Bachelor or Masters in relevant engineering disciplines
  • We are looking for complimentary knowledge which adds to our existing team. Fresh mindsets from different educations or industries are just as valuable as having experience from the drilling industry or from process control
  • Enjoying cooperating with different cultures and personalities is important to our team.
