Enterprise Data Manager / Master Data Manager

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As the Enterprise Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the proper management, quality, and security of our data assets. You will ensure that our data is reliable, protected, and aligned with our business goals.

In this role, you will establish and work closely with Data Content Owners and focus on all aspects of ensuring data is accessible and secure throughout its lifecycle. Together, you will collaborate to ensure that data is managed effectively and efficiently, in line with Jotun's Enterprise Data Governance strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the quality of data assets: You will be responsible for ensuring that the data is of high quality, accurate, and relevant to the needs of the business.
• Ensuring adherence to principles, policies, and procedures: You will ensure that the data is managed following the principles, policies, and procedures outlined in the Enterprise Data Governance strategy.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will work with teams across the organization to improve data quality and business outcomes.
• Proactively acting to ensure data quality and compliance: You will take proactive steps to ensure that the data is of high quality and complies with all relevant regulations and standards.

Required qualifications:

• A strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, such as DAMA-DMBOK.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations.
• Experience in managing data quality and implementing data quality initiatives.
• A business-oriented mindset to align data management efforts with business goals and objectives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
