Developer - Engineering and Design Automation

Our DigiTech team supports Aker Solutions business in digital transformation, and DigiTech’s Engineering Automation team creates solutions which automate and streamline engineering and design processes, including 3D design and system integrations.

We now want to strengthen our team with new developers. Your background can either be a software developer, or an engineer with some experience from programming.

This role gives you great opportunities to be part of our digitalization and transformation journey and you will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers and developers

What will you be doing? 

• Collaborate with Product Owners and end-users to understand requirements related to digitalization initiatives.
• Design and develop new features and solutions
• Document, test, and deploy new versions of software
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software
• Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance

We think you should have: 

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field. 
• Adequate experience in development of technical applications
• Experience with Phyton and/or C#
• Experience with some of the following technologies is an advantage: 
• Lisp-based languages, or similar dialects
• Machine learning and/or generative design
• Azure DevOps
• AVEVA E3D or other 3D design tools
• Team player with an innovative mindset
• An eagerness to learn and commitment to deliver high quality work
• Good communication skills and fluent in English
