Clara Venture Labs is an industrial technology and engineering company developing ground-breaking new technologies within energy systems and high-precision engineering and manufacturing. To further expand and innovate, we are seeking several new engineers with the fields of Industrial Automation and Control Systems.

Duties and responsibilities

As an engineer within the field Industrial Automation and Control Systems, you will be working with both current R&D- and engineering-projects, as well as developing solutions and approaches to solve complex problems. The following will be your main responsibilities:

  • Use your best efforts and skills to improve the value of the technology and solutions we are developing
  • Share your knowledge and ideas with fellow employees
  • Keep yourself up to date within your own competence field
  • Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with the agreement with the project manager and CVL’s project-specific quality requirements
  • Follow and if relevant, suggest improvements to existing design-, engineering-, modeling- and simulation systems and routines
  • Participate in the preparation of technical documents in bids/offers, when required
  • When agreed, act as project manager or technology lead in agreed projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree within one of the following domains:
    • Cybernetics
    • Instrumentation
    • Applied Computer Science
    • Automation
    • Electrical engineering
  • We wish to strengthen our capabilities with the following areas:

    • Cloud services (storage, computing, visualization)
    • Applied Artificial Intelligence
    • Machine Learning
    • Cyber security
    • Wireless networks
  • Good communication skills
  • Certificate of apprenticeship or practical experience will be an advantage.
  • Good academic results will be emphasized.
  • Good written and oral Norwegian and English
