Our New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

The Application Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of the company's software applications. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications across the organization.

The Application Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and utilization of software applications across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of specific software applications critical to the project's operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and ensure proper integration.
  • Ensure that the flow of data between the project's applications are coordinated and uniquely defined through implemented data transfers.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient and effective use of the application.
  • Stay updated on application upgrades and new features, evaluating their potential impact on the project.
  • Generate reports and insights from the application's data outputs.

We think you should have:
  • Relevant education. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
  • Understanding of software applications, databases, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C# is a plus.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues, in both Norwegian and English.
  • Experience with software applications (e.g., Autocad, E3D, MIPS) are desirable.
  • Positive and pro-active attitude
  • Structured with ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
