IT Coordinator

Onsite IT Europe department is looking for a candidate to take a position of IT coordinator. You will be based in the Falck Global Assistance office in Oslo. Occasionally you may also travel to other Nordics countries. You will report to Head of IT Europe.


We expect you to be extremely service-minded with a problem-solving mindset and with a good understanding of IT environments. An interest in IT and technology as well as service management is essential for the role as you will be working with a wide range of systems, technologies and internal processes.


Responsibilities:

• Provide IT on-site support for users in the Falck Global Assistance office in Oslo

• Support company IT equipment (PC’s, Network, Telephony, Peripherals, etc.)

• Troubleshoot hardware issues and repair on premise or warranty repair to supplier 

• Imaging of company provided PC’s using SCCM

• Wiping and cleaning of returned equipment and preparing for re-use

• Configuration of end user equipment

• Manage and asset track all IT equipment

• Managing inventory of computers and accessories, maintaining a minimum re-order level

• Troubleshooting and supporting mobile devices (iOS and Android) working with application management and Service Desk MDM team

• Managing cable infrastructure and patch panels

• Maintain, and support printer support, escalating to 3rd party where necessary

• Installation and support of meeting room and office equipment

• Help Service Desk in India with supporting and troubleshooting network issues in the office

• Understand, follow and promote Global IT processes and governance

• Manage workload within Service Now ticketing system

• Assist with IT projects


About you:

• Technical knowledge and experience supporting MS products such as Windows 10, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and mobile phones

• General knowledge about computer network

• Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of the Norwegian will be an advantage.

• Previous experience in hardware support/onsite role will be an advantage
