Software Engineer (Stavanger)

NOV Energy Equipment is seeking an Automation Software engineer with responsibilities of engineering, configuration of applications, documentation, and testing of drilling control systems. Duties & responsibilities:

Project work with responsibilities of engineering, configuration of applications, documentation, and testing of drilling control systems which include:

• Deployment and configuration of servers, terminals, and network switches. 
• Development and configuration of HMI applications and datalogging applications.
• Testing, internally and together with customer.
• Deliver, plan and carry out projects according to customer specifications.
• Technical support during installation and start-up phase.

Experience & qualifications:

• Master, Bachelor or equivalent education within computer Automation/electro/information technology or equivalent.
• You have some years’ experience with working with control system.
• Practical experience with hardware IT/Network equipment
• Experience with industrial automation solutions and industrial network
• Eager to create good solutions to customers and quality in delivery project.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
