Junior DevOps

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Team to work with us in developing our industry leading machine learning software products to new and even more exciting levels

Joining us you will:

• Help shape the future foundation of our industrial IoT SaaS products.
• Assist in developing a robust and secure platform for our products.
• Shorten the gap between the infrastructure and the product.
• Automate software deployment 

Key focus of the role:

• Assist in developing the infrastructure with focus on containerization, orchestration, security, scalability, availability and automation.
• Assist in research and evaluate future technologies to improve the development lifecycle and platform stability.
• Bring improvements and optimization, site reliability, and maintenance to our environments.
• Help drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of best practices, including areas like IaC (infrastructure-as-code).
• Test and monitor applications and services to ensure proper operation, SLAs and performance.
• Develop and drive the tooling for logging, alerting and continuous monitoring.
• Create and manage tools to administer the Arundo SaaS software.

• Kubernetes and Docker
• Frameworks such as Helm, Terraform, Kustomise, Prometheus, Loki.js, Grafana
• GitHub and GitHub Actions
• PostgreSQL database
• Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare

We expect that you have:

• 1 - 3 years of DevOps experience
• Experience or interest in programming
• Basic understanding of Network technology;  NATs, subnetting, domain setup, and the OSI model
• Docker and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Experience in either Microsoft Azure, GCP or AWS.
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Travis or Jenkins, etc) 
• Good knowledge of Linux, Bash, etc
