.NET Developer - Cross-Platform Development

About the role

Our Simulation Software Product Group is building a scalable digital simulation ecosystem which provides our customers more value and impact by helping healthcare professionals and educators improve the delivery of medical training and physical simulation exercises. As part of our team you will work alongside dedicated and creative Software Engineers, QA Engineers and Product experts to solve new challenges as we help save lives by developing the best product in the industry. 

We are now looking for two skilled .NET developers to join our team in Stavanger, Norway to help us build cross-platform applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies.

Our software platform is a unique mix of technologies, as we firmly believe in using the best technology for the job. Our primary tech stack includes C#, C++, Windows, and Linux. We simply love providing a consumer level customer experience in healthcare, where all the complexities behind the scenes are just that: behind the scenes.

Some of what you will be doing

• Developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using .NET technologies and related tools
• Collaborating with other team members to design and implement cross-platform solutions that meet business requirements
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting of software issues
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation related to software development
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, particularly those related to cross-platform development

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 3 years of experience in software development using .NET technologies is preferred however newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with cross-platform development using .NET Core, Xamarin, or other similar technologies
• Strong knowledge of C# and related technologies
• Knowledge with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
