NOV Energy Equipment is seeking and experienced Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the team that develops our automation platform for oil and gas software products.

 

We are looking for someone with a passion for controls and software development. Are you encouraged and motivated to tackle exciting challenges? Do you feel true excitement when you solve a problem or come up with a new solution for something you have been working on?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Software development
  • Software design
  • Coaching junior members of the team
  • Creating automatic testing and setting up test frameworks
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD scripts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Cybernetics, Computer science, or similar. 
  • Relevant experience may compensate for missing education.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Modern C++ knowledge
  • Working knowledge of CMake
  • Linux as development environment
  • Fluent in Git, preferably GitHub
  • Knowledge of scripting language: Bash, Python
  • Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
