IT System Specialist, Core Banking Loans & Leasing

Core Banking Loans & Leasing is the asset owner of core banking IT applications in Santander. We operate, maintain and develop the View21 system CoreView, PreView and ReView in line with our banking strategy and operating needs. Core Banking Loans & Leasing are divided into three focus areas; Ops & Support, Development and Release Management. To strengthen our capacity in the Release Management team, we are now searching for a System Specialist for a temporary position until 31.12.2024. This position can be located in Lysaker (Norway) or Solna (Sweden).

As a System Specialist in our Release Management team, you will contribute in activities to upgrade our View21 platform Nordic. You will be a part of a dedicated team of highly skilled specialists, all determined to deliver first class software. The Financial products supported by our View21 platform is Auto, Consumer Loan, Deposit and Insurance.

Your main tasks:

  • Active participation in View21 upgrades, Nordic
  • Support UAT (UserAcceptanceTesters) testers in Upgrade periods
  • Analyze findings in testing and report bugs to system vendor, Banqsoft
  • Supporting end-users in understanding the core applications, CoreView, PreVeiw, ReView.
  • Contribute on reaching team objectives according to the Banks strategies
  • Contribute on continuous improvements on processes and ways of working

Competencies and experience:

  • Basic infrastructure knowledge, servers, databases and software version
  • Experience and knowledge on financial products and processes
  • Experience in utilizing and understanding of complex core banking systems, preferable View21
  • Experienced within problem- and change management
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, both in one of our Nordic languages and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical or economy field (can be substituted by relevant experience)
  • Preferable, but not necessary, if familiar with use of SQL, Azure Devops, API/IL knowledge
  • Familiar with ITIL framework is preferable
