We are currently seeking 2 skilled Kafka Administrators/Data Engineers with passion for building high-quality software and infrastructure. If you have experience and interest in Kafka and Java Technologies, we want you to read further!


About the team

Our newly-formed Data Platform is embarking on a journey towards Data Mesh, where shared data is discoverable, addressable, trustworthy, and secure. As a member of our team, you’ll work closely with other teams within the Nordic Marketplaces to provide custom vertical functions, while also helping to build decentralised data products using our centralised Event Stream. In our team, we work together towards our goals, and are keen to make each other better. Who are you?

You are of course passionate about building high quality software and infrastructure, and a work-day that consists of a variety of tasks is something that gives you a lot of energy. You have a genuine interest in our products and the needs of our end-users, and you always consider what’s best for the company when making technology decisions.


Additionally, you have:

  • Hands on experience with Kafka, and managed services providers such as Aiven, Confluent. Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus, but not required.
  • Good understanding of the principles of Data Mesh.
  • Knowledge of Java and the JVM platform
  • Experience with any of the following or similar is an advantage: GCP, AWS, Git, Kubernetes, Spring, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Cassandra
  • Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban etc)
  • A high degree of effective, proactive communication skills in english, both verbally and in written form.
