Core Responsibilities of the Software Developer R&D:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our projects and customers. An insight into how our solutions is utilized  can be seen on NRK through our Facebook - post
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities and translate these into tangible software products.
  
  
• Conducting thorough research and staying abreast of the latest technologies to incorporate into our solutions, ensuring we remain industry leaders.
• Participating in all phases of the development cycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout.
• Testing and debugging software to ensure reliability and efficiency, driving continuous improvement in our software development processes.
• Contributing to the creation of technical documentation, including system design, development specifications, and user manuals.

We Are Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong technical background and a proven track record in software development, particularly within an R&D setting. As our Software Developer in R&D, you will:

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a solid foundation in front-end programming languages such as React and Javascript
• Have knowledge and experience of backend programming langagues like C#.NET
  
  
• Have knowledge about terms like: MobX, Redux, WebSocket, SignalR, Material UI and Storybook
• Have hands-on experience in full-cycle software development, including designing, coding, testing, and deployment.
  
  
• Demonstrate a capacity for innovative thinking and the ability to approach problems with a solution-focused mindset.
• Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and produce straightforward solutions.
• Feature good communication skills, facilitating clear and effective collaboration across the development team.
• Be passionate about staying current on emerging technologies and applying them in practical, innovative ways to benefit our projects.
• Fluency in English is essential, with excellent written  communication skills.
• Good Norwegian language competence is an advantage, especially with focus on verbal communication.

You will be reporting directly to the teamlead of our Mobility team and in some way to the head of R&D. In our organization is Software Developer playing a pivotal role in driving our innovation efforts, contributing significantly to our long-term technology strategy.
