Key tasks

• Install, create, monitor and maintain databases on external cloud hosting and on-premise

• Develop, manage and maintain backup and disaster recovery

• Proactive performance tuning and planning

• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot to provide ongoing operational stability

• Provide expert services to the development team

• Ensure compliance with IT Security Policy

• Advise on how the IT resources are utilized to their fullest

• Participate in ongoing development and delivery of the product

• Maintain technical documentation of routines and architecture

You have

• Relevant higher education

• Expert insight into Oracle technology

• Up-to-date DBA skills

• Track record of successful troubleshooting

• Design state-of-the-art technical solutions for scalability, reliability, security, and performance

• Collaborate with other project teams on technical solutions

• Ability to learn and work with new and emerging technologies

• Experience in establishing and running production and development environments

  • Installing, patching, upgrading

  • Backup, restore, disaster recovery

  • Monitoring and tuning

• Experience from multiple Oracle versions

• Intimate knowledge of Oracle technology offerings

• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL is preferred

• Familiarity with one or more of the following:

  • Oracle Application Express

  • Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)

  • Windows operating systems

  • IaaS cloud products from Amazon AWS

  • IaaS cloud products from Azure
