AutoStore has transformed the world of warehouse automation. AutoStore Router has transformed AutoStore itself. Now we're looking for someone who can help drive the next wave of improvements in Router.

Router is the core and magic of AutoStore, which plans robot traffic and tasks for thousands of robots in near real-time. Do you love optimization? We work on continuously improving robot utilization and algorithm runtime.

Do you enjoy tackling complex problems? We collaborate on NP-hard problems and develop new solutions that get closer to optimality. We engage in both research and development. Every percent of improvement adds value for our customers and enhances AutoStore's competitiveness.

We have a well-developed CI system where new ideas can be quickly tested to see if they should be integrated into the product. "Gamification" makes exploring new ideas fun, and you can see if your idea leads to a new "high score." Are you passionate about machine learning? Qualifications we are looking for:

• Master's degree or equivalent in computer science.
• Experience as a developer and problem solver in C++20, Rust, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and interest in optimization.
• Practical skills in Python used in tools around Router.
• Ability and desire to delve into details to seek new knowledge.
• Ability to translate theoretical research into practical solutions.
• Skills in machine learning are desired.
• Ability to identify and reduce technical debt.
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a small team.
