(Sr) Software Engineer: Platform DevOps

Want to be part of Norway's most innovative company? *

We are looking for experienced Software engineer to help us build the DNB Integration Platform

The game of banking is changing, and DNB is taking an active part in defining the future of financial services by becoming a technological leader in the industry. To do this we need to strengthen our technical community further by hiring experienced and passionate software engineers to help us drive the change.

The Integration and Flow Tech Family

The Integration and Flow Tech Family is responsible for the integration architecture and governance across DNB. This includes building a Hybrid Integration Platform for synchronous and asynchronous integration, defining, and governing the API and Event-based integration guidelines and patterns, and performing integration solution architecture for business-driven initiatives. We have for a while been on a journey to encapsulate our legacy systems into standardized and reusable REST API services and are now adding async/event-based integration patterns, using streaming technologies like Kafka as a centralized Event Hub.

Our APIs are decoupled from the legacy systems they expose through caching and data replication mechanisms, and from the channels they serve through standardized formats. Our main platform for API processing is currently on AWS, but we are building a multi-cloud strategy to gradually off-load and replace our on-premises legacy platforms and systems. The Integration Platform will play a large role in this journey.
