The team you will be joining:
The mission of the IT Systems department is to establish IT-solutions that handle the growth reMarkable is facing, while at the same time giving us a competitive edge. We strive to make these solutions secure, supported and high-quality sources of valuable business insight. As a Senior IT Architect, you will play a central role in defining our architecture blueprint and this is how you will spend your days:
Designing scalable, flexible, and secure IT solutions that meet business goals and objectives
Define principles, standards, guidelines, and best practices
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our IT systems
Develop and maintain the architecture blueprint, encompassing business processes, applications, data, and technology infrastructure
Collaborate with reMarkable teams to understand their needs and translate them into architectural requirements
Provide those teams guidance and support to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on technology strategy, investments, and risk management
Conduct architecture reviews and assessments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience as an IT Architect or in a similar role
Experience with Data Governance
Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale IT systems; such as ERP, CRM or E-commerce platforms
Knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture, API management, and DevOps practices
Knowledge of Business Processes; such as sales and finance
Analytical skills and enjoy problem solving
Clear communication and listening skills, and ability to translate technical concepts into language other departments can understand
In addition it is beneficial to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
A sense of humor, curiosity, and cooperation
A growth mindset, with the willingness to learn and keep up to date on both technology and business trends
Certification or exposure to TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks, as well as Scrum or other agile methodologies
Hands-on experience on business process design
Experience in one or more of the following business domains: eCommerce, Order management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, Product Lifecycle Management, Human Resources
