Mid-weight to senior Digital & Graphic Designer

Nofence is a Norwegian scale up who has built the world’s first virtual fencing solution for livestock. As we aim to revolutionise livestock management we need top-notch competence in our Product team, and we are now in need of our first in-house Graphic Designer who can lead our design efforts in cross functional teams.

About the role

You would be working in teams with User experience, Marketers and Service designers, building the brand that spans across multiple regions and markets. You will be working with UX and business designers crafting consistent user experiences that span from digital interfaces to packaging and instructions. Together with designers and marketers you will be building engaging marketing campaigns across multiple forms of media in several languages backed by passionate colleagues who together are on a mission to scale Nofence fast.

Projects at Nofence are fast paced and varied, where the design team likes to test out and iterate on new ideas and do A/B testing to fight out which solution works best! At Nofence we work with engaged, passionate problem solvers in a healthy productive environment of feedback and co-operation.


Some of the things you can expect to be doing:

  • Working with the marketing department designing concepts and materials for multiple regions in different languages, building the brand and effective campaigns.

  • Coming up with strong visual concepts for campaigns that would spread multiple domains such as Adverts and Banners for websites and social media.

  • Work with UX and Service designers on building a cohesive consistent customer experience across multiple domains and touch points.

  • Build and iterate on the visual identity and ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all channels.

  • Making a range of marketing materials spanning from full scale campaigns, social media ads and print ads to event material, brochures and decks / presentations.

  • You will be an important part of design stand-ups, workshops and Marketing meetings. 

  • Building a brand that spans across multiple regions and markets.

  • Working with user experience on the physical experience of the product from packaging to instructions.


About you

The right candidate is preferred to have the following qualifications:

  • Has had previous experience working with marketing and building campaigns.

  • Worked with concepts and ideas building brands and visual identities.

  • Competence in design touching upon colour theory, layouts and consistency.

  • Ability to develop designs that align with our brand values, tone of voice and messaging.

  • Good design skills in illustration with experience creating and designing materials for print and digital media including but not limited to: logos, icons, graphics, brochures, posters, banners, social media assets, web banners, email templates and other visual elements for brands.

  • Skilled in developing InDesign templates, slide decks, fact sheets, infographics and other branded design templates for company-wide use.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of graphic design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. and ability to quickly learn and use new tools.

  • A broad portfolio of work that showcases your full skillset and passion.

  • Good communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring on-time delivery of projects.

  • Self-starter, motivated with the ability to spar and debate ideas and decisions.

  • Skills in photography and filming with video editing in software such as after effects and Premiere Pro can be an advantage but not a requirement.
