Software Senior Developer Satellite Communications

Kratos is a leading provider of satellite control and monitoring solutions to satellite operators with a 80 % global market share. Kratos is now developing new generation RF and monitoring solutions. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to contribute in the development of solutions for digitizing satellite ground stations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Development of software communication and monitoring products
• Design, architecture, documentation and product planning
• Take responsibility in tasks related to execution of agile and scrum processes
• Collaboration with other Kratos teams (mainly in the US)
• Support other parts of the organization at need (sales, delivery, customer support)

Experience:

• Higher technical education within software development, preferably Master degree
• Significant and documented experience in software design and development
• Object oriented programming, C#, C++, .net
• Communication protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, 3GPP
• Experience with Linux and Windows platforms
• Digital communications, signal processing
• Distributed systems and microservices ·
• Network configuration protocols, telecommunication networks
• Experience with common resource/service orchestration architectures
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, automated testing
• Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with scrum and agile development processes and tools
• Atlassian toolchain
• Ability to mentor
• Result-oriented, methodical and structured
• Team player with good communication skills
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in parallel
• Speak and write English fluently
