We are now looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join Volue SPARK team who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

About SPARK: Volue is at the forefront of driving smarter energy coordination through the Spark Ecosystem. The rollout of solar rooftops is gaining significant momentum as Europe aims to put solar panels on new public, commercial and residential buildings. By 2030 there will be 200 million distributed energy resources (DERs) in Europe alone. This includes rooftop solar, small wind and hydro, as well as storage such as electric vehicles (EVs) and residential water heaters. We are confident that the grid's challenges on this journey can be solved proactively. By leveraging distributed energy resources (DERs) we can facilitate a more intelligent use of the power grid. That is why we are building an ecosystem of partnerships and services that will seamlessly integrate connected resources within a sustainable and scalable neighbourhood energy system.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• design, develop and maintain Spark Services: Create and maintain RESTful APIs utilized by numerous clients.
• C# Development: write clean, efficient and maintainable C# code.
• DevOps Leadership (Optional): collaborate across development teams and work closely with platform and operations teams to lead DevOps initiatives.
• actively participate in our Discord community to assist partners with their issues.

What you need to succeed:

• BSc or MSc Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework
• Solid knowledge of application security best practices.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Expertise in Azure, with a focus on designing and implementing cost-effective, scalable solutions.
• DevOps mindset with experience in Kubernetes and Kustomize.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL / PostGIS.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools while staying updated with industry trends.
