Are you dreaming of building planet-scale cloud-based solutions with cool-looking web front-ends written in Vue.js and TypeScript, using artificial intelligence to do brilliant things? Mimir is looking for a senior developer to join our fast-growing Bergen-based team of technology experts.

Mimir is part of Fonn Group, a technology company of 60+ product nerds headquartered in Bergen, growing fast in both customer base and employee numbers. Mimir is a video production and collaboration platform for professionals. By joining us you get to work with some pretty amazing people each with 15-20 years experience in the media tech industry - both on the vendor side and at broadcasters. You also get to serve some equally amazing customers including, amongst others, CBS News, VRT, NRK, Axel Springer, blinx, GB News, Deutsche Presse-Agentur, Formula E, TV 2 FYN, Sky News Australia, The New York Times, News UK, TVNZ, and ausbiz. 


The job, you get to; 

  • Build cloud-native, SaaS products for the media industry
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of our platforms and applications
  • Own project timelines and deliverables
  • Use the latest technologies across our entire software stack
  • Work with a highly skilled team of experts

 

You

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent code-writing skills - you can hop in and contribute to any part of a codebase
  • Ability and willingness to learn new languages and technologies
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Attention to detail


The tech

  • Vue.js with Vuetify as a component framework
  • TypeScript
  • AWS Serverless
  • NodeJS
  • DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Lambda, and other AWS technologies
