Technical Project Manager

As the Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for efficient and effective deliveries across the bank to make sure we deliver on policies that makes us compliant within security and life cycle management of the banks applications and infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering and ensuring seamless service delivery in a highly complex application portfolio, while at the same time making sure obsolete systems are upgraded without breaking the high levels of user satisfaction. You will work with a team of talented professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance and availability of our applications and associated services in a 24/7/365 environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement within project team and implement best practices.
  • Making sure the projects are delivering quality results within agreed timeline.
  • Quality reporting to project owners and steer co groups throughout the project
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and performance.
  • Leading risk management initiatives related with infrastructure together with 2Lod and 3Lod.
  • Continuously strengthening internal control environment for IT infrastructure area to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Working closely with asset owners and development teams across the bank.
  • Onboarding of new projects and making sure they are staffed according to capacity in the bank.
  • Working close with external vendors and internal teams, to make sure we deliver as agreed with our owners, management and Cyber Security.
  • Collaborating with Service Managers to drive continuous enhancement and optimization of our applications.

Main activities:

  • Lead multiple technical projects in parallel
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure application and data security compliance.
  • Coordination with the teams within IT operations
  • Coordination with the asset owners and development teams
  • Ensure that service level agreements are met
  • Ease decision making process
  • Participate in change management activities
  • Driving the intragroup relation and projects deliveries with SCF HQ, CCoE and GS
  • Ensure that proper handover of workloads to operations are performed
  • Follow up vendors in terms of performance and quality in deliveries
  • Collaboration with adjacent organizations
  • Ensure internal governance and external regulation requirements are met for the area
  • Ensure the projects deliver documentation according to requirements
  • Ensure that time critical projects are delivered according to plan
  • Ensure that processes for contracting are followed and completed
  • Establish operating models for new implementations and ensure these are clearly communicated to involved parts of the bank

Experience & Education:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in leading teams in a technology-driven environment
  • Experience in leading technical projects in complex organizations (5+ years)
  • Solid experience ensuring compliance with banking regulations
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, and networking concepts
  • Knowledge in on-premise data centre operations
  • Understanding of IT economics
  • Highly experienced in interacting with upper management stakeholders
  • Master ?s degree in Business or related field
  • Certification in major project management framework
  • Certification on relevant technologies is preferred
