Come join us in Stavanger, Norway as our new Software QA/Test Automation Engineer!
Our portfolio of digital training products ranges from a remote-control apps for some of our physical products like Shocklink, to an advanced quality CPR feedback app developed cross-platform and compatible with a large range of our training devices (AED Trainers, Manikins and much more).
In this role, you will be part of a vibrant cross-functional team. Your role is to set best practices for ensuring software quality by identifying bugs and suggesting improvements. You will also be closely involved in IoT topics to ensure we deliver the best integrated solution to our customers. You’ll use the best practices set for CI/CD and propose improvements to processes and tools when you believe it would increase the team’s efficiency.
Some of what you will be doing
-Test and verify new features for digital training products to deliver releases with the highest customer value and quality level on all our supported platform (UWP, iOS, Android) by driving test-related tasks such as:
-Explore and keep up to date with new technologies
-Interact at a cross-functional level to achieve optimal solutions
Who we envision would fit the role
You are a talented and passionate Software QA/Test Automation Engineer. You are used to working across disciplines and have good communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, it is a plus to be hands-on and curious about how things work. You are self-driven and capable of going beyond requirements to find inaccuracies.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree within Computer Science or similar
- 3 years’ experience as Software QA/Test Automation Engineer is preferred
- Familiar with cross platform technologies and IoT
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Experience with test automation, API testing and BDD/TDD is a benefit
- Knowledge of test methodology (ISTQB, TMap®) is a benefit
