About the role

Lefdal Mine Datacenter is seeking a Electro/Automation Technician to effectively navigate the intersection of technology and business. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled resource that will contribute to the success of a technology-driven organization.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Maintenance and repairs according to the maintenance system.
  • Assembling, testing, inspection, replacement and configuration of equipment.
  • Perform and manage internal controls.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.
  • Participation in on-call rotation schedule with the technical team.
  • Participate in mechanical work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Trade Certificate as Electrician, Control System Technician or Automation Technician.
  • Technical knowledge and competence from industrial production/offshore.
  • Experienced user of maintenance systems.
  • Knowledge of IT and fiber networks.
  • Experience in fire detection and suppression systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English.
  • Driver license (B).
