Data Governance and Quality Analyst

The primary focus of the position is to work with the Data Management team, implementing the Data Governance and information framework, build and implementing the Data Quality framework, raise awareness, support, and assist the business on Data Quality related issues. This may seem like a lot and the job description is quite broad, but as Data Governance and Quality Analyst, you will be part of a group spread over all four Nordic countries with different specific areas of responsibility. With Nordic focus this makes us uniquely placed and a central function in the bank that is directly involved in projects, implementing new systems or supports the business in use of data as a strategic asset.**

Some of the tasks that this job may include:

  • Help increase the level of data governance and quality in the Bank
  • Support building the local Data Quality framework and aligning with the Global Data Quality framework
  • Support the Bank in fulfilling their Data Governance and Quality related responsibilities (Data Quality, Data Flow, Data Dictionary ,Risk assessments, inventory, support privacy by design in projects, etc.)
  • Perform Training & Awareness activities for Data Governance and Quality
  • Participate in key projects to ensure Data Governance and Privacy Quality are met
  • Support the Bank in the implementation of the Bank level framework for Data Governance and Quality
  • Facilitate the CDO forums (Data Governance and Quality Forum, Cross Functional Data Forum, Regulatory Consistency Forum)
  • Execute and follow up various controls, in accordance with our control framework
  • Analyze and manage observations, data events and action plans
  • Be a superuser of the selected tools for Data Governance and Quality

Your experience:

  • Experience with technology within the data & analytics domain
  • Experience with programming languages as Python or SQL
  • Experience from working with Data Quality or Data Integrations
  • Experience with Data Governance processes, like Data Flow, Data Dictionary or DISA
  • Experience with data governance in a data & analytics platform environment
