Senior Automation & Control System Developer

In Havkraft, you will work on R&D tasks related to development of a control system for new renewable power generation systems. Responsibilities and tasks:

• Design, coordinate, and lead the system architecture.
• Software programming. Programming and designing PLC software, front-end and back-end systems.
• Analog and digital design.
• Data interpretation.
• Prepare function descriptions and test procedures.
• Support the operations department.
• Develop and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with partners and suppliers.

Desired qualifications:

• Higher education in studies related to computer science, mechatronics, electronics, cybernetics.
• Experience with programming languages.
• Communication protocols.
• Programming of embedded systems.
• Development of user interfaces.
• Experience in the energy sector (wave energy) is desirable.
• Enthusiasm and diligence in assignments
• Eager to learn.
• Enthusiasm for engineering, technology and problem solving.
• Interested in coding, have a service "mindset", customer focus, and desire to deliver quality.
• Independent, proactive, and structured.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
