In Kron by Storebrand we are on a mission to make investments available to everyone. Kron is Norway’s most liked investment app, and more than 80,000 customers visit the app almost daily. We engage them by bridging the gap between what happens in the financial markets and how it affects the money they have invested.
We call it great investments for everyone, and we are now looking for a software engineer to join us on the journey.
About you
Technologies
The most important technologies we use are listed below. If you know some already, that’s great! However, we believe a great developer can learn and work with any language or tool. What’s essential to us is that you are willing to learn.
What else do you need to know about us?
We are conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Lysaker train station. At our office you will find ample bicycle parking, a fantastic cafeteria, services like a chiropractor/physiotherapist and a wide range of training opportunities through well-equipped training rooms and our own gymnasium.
Storebrand also provides an excellent pension scheme, favourable insurances and subsidized employee loan for home purchase.
What’s next?
Our application process looks like the following:
Application: You apply by sending your CV and answer some questions about why you want to work at Kron.
First interview: You are invited in for a ~45-minute interview where we talk about your motivation, you can ask any questions you might have, and we uncover whether it is a good match.
Technical assessment: To reduce biases and have objective criteria when assessing candidates, we ask that you do one of the following: 1) Share a code project you’ve written previously with us or 2) complete a take-home exercise we provide (which takes up to 3 hours to complete).
Technical interview: Everyone who completes the technical assessment is invited in for a technical interview. Here, we discuss your project and go more in-depth into your technical background. The interview lasts for about 90 minutes.
Final interview: In the final interview you will typically meet the team lead, your Engineering Manager and someone from our HR department. The interview typically lasts for 60 minutes.
Offer: Your Engineering manager will reach out with an offer, and we will discuss practicalities around the start date etc.
Applications are reviewed continuously.
