We are looking for Senior Engineer

Job Description:

• Responsible for understanding and defining the scope of work for the land installation department from the project contract
• Responsible for identification of possible approaches and solutions on how the scope of work can be addressed
• Responsible for documentation of the solutions and present them to the project stakeholders (Project Manager, Client, etc.)
• Responsible for the documentation linked to the land installation scope of the project to be prepared and delivered according to plan
• Responsible for the documents linked to the land installation scope is according to laws, rules and regulations
• Report to document control and project planner on changes in the plan
• Verify that documentation from sub contractor is delivered on time
• Follow up on sub contractors deliverables
• Archiving of project documentation in collaboration with document control
• Prepare as-built documentation
• Participate in DIC and IDC process
• Facilitate so that the project team has ownership to the project goals
• Verify that necessary installation material and services is provided
• Prepare and maintain procurement list in cooperation with Project Procurement Manager
• Check and approve invoices in BasWare / Alusta
• Ensure that the cable(s) and components are installed in accordance with the contract requirements and clients standard and experience
• Contribute to implementing competitive and professional engineering solutions in the project
• Contribute to keeping the technology up to date with industry practice and rules

Qualifications:

• Engineer with relevant education, Master/Bachlor or equivalent or experience with similar positions
• 0-5 years engineering experience
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Ability to adapt to change
• High sense of quality and on time performance
• Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative

Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
