Job Description:- Participate as an SAS engineer in concept studies for the electrification of offshore installations (power from shore).
- Responsible for SAS system design.
- Establish a SAS signal list to C study level.
- Develop preliminary SAS topologies for the project.
- Provide input to cause and effect and shutdown philosophies.
- Participate in system design and safety reviews.
- Interface design with power management systems.
- Involve SAS system vendor for input to the study.
- Contribute to the study report.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Cybernetics, or Instrumentation.
- Minimum of 5 years of SAS engineering experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in specifying, integrating, and supporting process control and safety shutdown systems.
- Experience in procurement, installation, and maintenance of SAS-related equipment.
- Competent in developing system design documentation and performing IEC 61508/61511 analysis.
- Ability to translate process requirements and verify supplier deliverables.
- Strong understanding of input documentation from process, electrical, and safety disciplines.
Important with valid work permit for Norway if not located in Norway.
