We are looking for a Document Controller to manage project handover documentation and modification documentation in support of our Operations team. Ideal candidates would be highly motivated, solution-oriented and hard-working individuals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure document control workflow is effective (deliverables to/from; client, contractors, class);
  • Follow up oustanding documentation;
  • Expediting, document control, resolving backlogs, completion and closeouts;
  • Produce document control guiedlines and study client's document requirements;
  • Responsible for work instructions and procedures, and ensuring workflow is executed;
  • Understand company ISO requirements for retaining records for all project documentation;
  • Provide feedback for Document Control management system development;
  • Provide training for DCC and Operations team within the Document Control management system;
  • Provide general daily assistance to Operations team in all matters concerning technical documentation;
  • Update and maintain the distribution matrix when needed for MoC/TCP update for technical documentation;
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in relevant area;
  • 8 years experience in Document Control positions;
  • Document Control experience working towards FPSOs;
  • Experience working with large contractors in relevant areas;
  • Good knowledge of electronic document management system/s;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Fluent English verbal and written is essential. Other languages are an advantage.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to interact proactively with management and colleagues at all levels of the organisation;
  • Good problem-solving skills, with practical and pragmatic approach;
  • Good organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to quality of work, details, and the ability to prioritise and control own workload.
