About the role

Join a dynamic and evolving organization dedicated to enhancing employee experiences and operational efficiency. On our global journey, we’re looking for a People Operations Administrator who can join us for one year, playing a pivotal role in our payroll processes and employee support systems.

The People Operations Administrator will serve as a subject matter expert on payroll while assisting employees across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring accurate salary management and sharing information effectively, contributing directly to our company’s goals of operational excellence and employee satisfaction.


Your areas of responsibility

  • Payroll Management & Compliance: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while acting as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries and collaborating with finance and external payroll providers.

  • Process Improvement: Support the implementation of our new payroll partner by identifying operational efficiencies and continuously seeking improvements in payroll processes.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track self-reported sick leave and overtime statistics, providing reports and maintaining accurate documentation for payroll processes, including maternity leave and audit preparations.

  • Operational Support & Data Management: Ensure all employee data is accurate while actively seeking opportunities to improve processes. Provide operational support within HR, assist employees with salary inquiries, maintain HR systems, and handle personnel administration tasks.

  • Collaboration & Employee Engagement: Work closely with the People team and other stakeholders to implement employee initiatives and enhance overall people experience through effective communication and support.


We are looking for the following experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with payroll; international payroll experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with HR practices beyond payroll, and prior experience in HR systems.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for system optimization.

  • You bring new ideas to the table, seeking efficient ways to optimize processes.

  • You are detail oriented and have a passion for technology.

  • Great collaboration skills, being able to adapt quickly to changes and prioritize tasks amid unexpected challenges.


Practical information

  • Type of employment: Temporary (1 year maternity leave cover).

  • We will consider applications on a rolling basis.

  • Language requirements: Our company language is English.

  • Location: Oslo, Norway.

  • Visa requirements: Citizenship/valid work permit from the EU/EEA.
